Russian Health Fair
Who: Under the umbrella of Russian Canadian Congress
Sponsors and Organizers: Natan Gendelman (Health in Motion Clinic), Alyona Popova (Canadian Hearing Society), Luba Chernaya (Canadian Courier newspaper and NTV Canada), Svetlana Roufanova (Russian Library and Info Centre/CHAT-community home assistance to seniors)
Target group: Russian speaking adults and seniors
What: Tables and booths with displays and info from different agencies that provide services to the Russian speaking Community, as well as other Health related services (with help of volunteer interpreters); 3-4 workshops on a variety of topics in the auditorium w/question and answer period.
Tables are free for Non-profit agencies; others will pay $150-200.
It is free of charge for the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
The event will be presented for the 1st time in Toronto for the Russian Community.
Ethnic Channels and Newspapers will cover the event.
Snacks and drinks will be served.
