Tri-annual Job and Education Fair

WHERE: Metro Toronto Convention Centre
TIME: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. South Building, Hall 718
Location: 222 Bremner Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario M5V 3L9

DETAILS: 3 dollars entry fee, (please allow 30 minutes for on site registration at the job fair, to save time kindly complete registration form on and bring it with you to the event.

WHO: Aboriginals & Visible Minorities born in Canada. New or established immigrants with/without Canadian experience or education, who are legally able to work in Canada.

WHAT: This event is designed to allow Aboriginals, immigrants and visible minorities improved access to employment and educational opportunities. Many organizations including employers, educational institutions, associations, self-employment organisations and governmental departments will participate including Hewlett Packard, Royal Bank, Scotia Bank, Xerox, Ikea, Staples, Manpower, Canada Post, RCMP, TTC, Ontario Ministry of Community Safety & Correctional Services, Ontario Association of Teachers, Certified General Accountants, Seneca College, St. Clair College, University of Toronto, University of Western Ontario and many other organizations.

RECRUITMENT: Representatives from private and public sector employers will be seeking qualified workers who have some work or educational experience in Canada.

EDUCATION INFORMATION: Educational institutions will offer information about training programs, educational courses, programs designed to update credentials and on co-op programs that have been designed to help people obtain Canadian work experience.

PROGRAMS & SERVICES INFORMATION: Information specifically targeted to Aboriginals, visible minorities and new Canadians including employment information, immigrant programs, accreditation services as well as professional & networking associations.
